I Will Come to You

When I started painting this verse on Alison's fundraiser paintings, it stirred my soul...and has ever since! My heart resonates with everything about it. ...

"I will not leave you as orphans." I began to realize that I have no idea what it feels like to be an orphan. I have two loving parents and a whole family that love and support me! I'm reminded of a post from Elder Adventures blog when Stephen Elder described how the Holy Spirit showed him what it feels like to be an orphan. (WOW!) Have you ever thought about that? AND before we knew Christ, we were "orphans". We didn't have love and hope and a future.

"I will come to you." Christ ADOPTED us into His family and HE became our love, hope and future!!! This is my story. Is it yours? I'm so excited for Alison to go to the Noel Orphanage and share God's love with the kids there! They will know that they are LOVED, the have HOPE and a FUTURE! ;)
